Sales Information
We have a strict "no doggie visitors" policy on our farm to help ensure the health of our pups as they develop their immune systems. If you wish to make a visit to view our puppies, please do not bring your own pet with you and we may ask that you wash your hands before handling our pups if you have visited other kennels and puppies in the same day. All of our pups are vaccinated under the guidance of our kennel vet and will receive at least two of the three-shot puppy vaccination series before they leave our premises. We welcome you to bring your puppy back to us for its third shot if travel is practical. If not, you will receive all the information about your puppy's shots from us at the time of the sale, including the due date for the third and final shot of the puppy vaccination series.
At around four weeks of age we begin supplementing their nursing with powdered milk and introduce puppy kibble into their milk at around six weeks of age. While the pups' mother is well able to feed her babies up to this point, we have found this transition makes it easier on the pups' digestive systems as you transfer them to solid food. Similarly, we feed the mothers puppy kibble while they are nursing due to its higher protein and calcium content than regular kibble, aiding them in milk production while keeping their body condition at a stable level.
The purchase of a puppy is not only an investment of money, but time and love. Your puppy will grow up to be a full sized dog with an average lifespan of around 15 years. Please contact us if you are interested in finding out more about our pups and sales policies. We do screen our buyers to make sure that you have proper facilities to house an Aussie as well as an understanding of what is expected of you as a new puppy owner. As reputable breeders, we are available throughout your dog's life to provide any assistance we can.
